April Svic ❋
Developmental Educator | Director | Coffee Enthusiast | Geelong Cats Fan
April Svic wears many hats, but at the heart of it all, she’s a passionate Developmental Educator dedicated to supporting individuals and their networks to create routine, skill development and a sense of calm.
With a double degree in Early Childhood Education (Special Education) and Developmental Education, April has spent the last 10 years working across various roles in the disability sector. As a practising member of the Developmental Educators Australia Inc. (DEAI), she brings warmth, expertise and a deep commitment to early intervention.
April has worked with individuals aged 2 to 55, but she has a special place in her heart for the early years. She believes that small wins lead to big successes and thrives on walking alongside families and support networks to create empowering, structured and supportive environments.
Now, with the launch of Arboreta Support, April is bringing her vision to life—a space where individuals with disabilities feel safe, supported and confident in achieving their goals. She’s not just working for her participants—she’s working with them, fostering independence, growth and a sense of belonging.
